Sarchu is at such Altitude where altitude is not fatal but it’s not easy to cope up.On the way passing by two marvellous lakes Deepak Taal & Suraj Taal. Deepak Tal is a small manmade lake near Patseo having its own charm whereas Suraj Taal Lake (third highest lake in India and 21st highest lake in the world) is the origin of Bhaga River, a tributary of the Chenab River. The Chandra River originates from moon shaped lake; Chandra Lake. The feeling of passing through this particular pass has a feeling of its own kind and you also will experience that by yourself.
